At Allbritten, our Dispatchers don’t just answer calls—they drive the entire day’s success. Our Dispatcher plays a critical role in Allbritten’s daily operations by coordinating service calls, routing field technicians efficiently, and delivering a positive experience to our customers. This position serves as the central communication hub between customers, technicians, and management, ensuring schedules are optimized, service levels are met, and issues are proactively resolved.

The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Sewer service operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedule, dispatch, and route field technicians for residential and light commercial service calls.
  • Monitor technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed based on emergencies, cancellations, delays, or call volume.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between technicians, customers, and internal teams.
  • Communicate arrival windows, delays, and job updates to customers in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Utilize dispatch and field service software to track job status, technician locations, and completion times.
  • Maintain accurate service records, notes, and updates in the dispatch system.
  • Support call-taking during high call-volume periods as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency, route optimization, and customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate service issues, customer concerns, or field challenges to management appropriately.
  • Adhere to Allbritten’s policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of dispatching, scheduling, call center, or customer service experience (home services industry preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, dispatch software, and multi-line phone systems.
  • Ability to remain professional and calm in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or related trades.
  • Familiarity with field service management, Service Titan, or CRM software.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Office-based position with extended periods of sitting and phone/computer use.
  • Frequent phone communication and data entry.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, early mornings, or evenings as business needs require.

  • $20–$28/hour + Incentive opportunities.
